Mañá e pasado (12 e 13 de maio) celebrarase o Open 5×5 Concello de Santa Comba de Balonmán na Rúa, unha competición que ten como obxectivo prioritario promocionar o noso deporte.
Esta actividade vai dirixida aos nenos e nenas de terceiro a sexto de Primaria (categorías alevín e infantil) e todos os pequenos/as que se acheguen ata a Praza do Mercado de Santa Comba van desfrutar dunha xornada divertida, no que coñecerán o balonmán dunha forma lúdica. Serán unhas xornadas de portas abertas nas que os rapaces e rapazas poderán achegarse ao balonmán xunto a adestradores/as cualificados, que ademais de explicarlle as normas básicas do balonmán, falarán sobre os valores do deporte e a importancia de respectar ao rival e recordar que só é un xogo.
Hoxe tivo lugar, na Casa Consistorial de Santa Comba, a presentación do torneo que se celebrará os días 12 e 13 de maio na Praza do Mercado. No acto estiveron presentes a alcaldesa María Posse; a concelleira de Deportes Silvia Cancela; o presidente da Federación Galega de Balonmán Bruno López; e representantes do club Xallas, que colaborará na organización do evento.
O presidente da Federación Galega de Balonmán, Bruno López, agradeceu tanto o apoio do Concello, como do club Xallas, para seguir adiante con esta tarefa de levar o balonmán a todos os rincóns de Galicia, que asumiu como fundamental cando se puxo ao fronte da Federación Galega. Grazas a colaboración do Concello, cada participante recibirá unha camiseta conmemorativa do evento e ao remate do mesmo haberá medallas para todos os participantes.
