Nesta convocatoria hai unha mezcolanza de xogadores habituais e máis veteranos con outros novos, que Ribera quere ir incorporando pouco a pouco.
No primeiro compromiso España xogará contra Polonia o mércores 23 de outubro (20:00 h.) Ao día seguinte enfrontaranse a Rusia (20:00 h.) e o día 25 medirán forzas coa anfitrioa Arxentina (18:00 h.).
