A Federación Galega de Balonmán decidiu suspender as competicións autonómicas e provinciais do sábado 21 de decembro, ante o anuncio realizado pola Xunta de Galicia de alerta dun temporal costeiro de nivel vermello e a recomendación da Secretaría Xeral para o Deporte de suspender as competicións deportivas.
O obxectivo desta medida é protexer tanto aos deportistas, adestradores/as, árbitros/as e afeccionados, principalmente nos seus desprazamentos, xa que anuncian ventos moi fortes durante toda a xornada do sábado.
Ademais de toda a competición do sábado, tamén se suspenden os partidos do domingo 22 do Camariñas correspondentes a segunda autonómica masculina (BM Camariñas Conservas Boya- BM Moaña), segunda xuvenil masculina (BM Camariñas Conservas Boya- Carnes do Ribeiro) e segunda infantil masculina (BM Camariñas JJ Chicolino-Abegondo F40)
