Os clubs Balonmán Xiria e Bueu Atlético Balonmán recibirán o vindeiro día 20 de marzo o premio ao Xogo Limpo dos Premios Deporte Galego do período 2019/22.
O DOG do día 13 de marzo fixo pública a resolución do xurado sobre os Premios Deporte Galego do período 2019/22 na que figuraban ambos clubes na categoría de xogo limpo. Ambos clubs recibiron o galardón por decidir xogar na categoría nacional con máscaras durante o período da pandemia a pesar de que non era obrigatorio o uso das mesmas e que, dalgunha forma, xogaban en inferioridad de condicións con respecto aos seus rivais.
Pero os clubs decidiron priorizar a saúde dos seus xogadores fronte aos resultados deportivos e optaron por adestrar e xogar con máscaras en Primeira Nacional Masculina. E a pesar diso, o Xiria proclamouse campión do grupo A de Primeira Nacional e incluso organizou a fase de ascenso, que se xogou en Carballo. Pola súa banda, o Bueu Atlético tamén fixo unha gran campaña rematando na quinta posición da tabla.
Asemesmo, o xurado destacou o gran traballo realizado na aplicación do protocolo do COVID, para poder continuar coa actividade deportiva.
A entrega dos premios celebrarase o vindeiro luns 20 de marzo (19:30 horas) no Auditorio Municipal de Ribeira (Rúa de Portugal, 3).
