Hoxe tivo lugar o acto de presentación do evento, coa participación do alcalde de Miño, Manuel Vázquez; o concelleiro de Deportes de Miño, José Manuel Pantín; o presidente do Balonmán Pontedeume, Óscar Allegue e o membro da xunta xestora da Federación Galega de Balonmán, Ignacio Permuy. O alcalde destacou a importancia da práctica deportiva entre os nenos e nenas, mentres que o representante da Federación se referiu ao gran traballo que están realizar as Escolas de Balonmán de Miño e Cariño para implantar o balonmán nesta zona.
A Xornada de Balonmán Concello de Miño celebrarase o domingo 27 de novembro no Pavillón Municipal de Miño, de 16:00 a 19:00 horas. Será unha xornada de minibalonmán para deportistas nados entre os anos 2011 e 2014, e na que participarán os clubs Balonmán Pontedeume e Tirso de Molina, ademais das Escolas de Balonmán de Miño e de Cariño, que están a facer un enorme traballo no proceso de expansión do balonmán nesta zona.
Esta actividade será organizada pola Federación Galega de Balonmán en colaboración coa Secretaría Xeral para o Deporte (a través do Plan Xogade) e o Concello de Miño.
