Abel Juncal e Ángel Mateos, árbitros nacionais de Primeira División Nacional, recibiron a condición de «árbitros habilitados» o que lles permitirá arbitrar na categoría inmediatamente superior, neste caso, a División de Honra Prata.
A figura de «árbitros habilitados» foi recuperada pola Federación Española de Balonmán para a tempada 20/21 a petición do Comité Técnico de Árbitros. Esta figura xa fora utilizada no pasado e parece que esta tempada tan especial pode necesario contar con máis colexiados.
Desta forma, a parella galega Juncal-Mateos poderá dirixir partidos en División de Honra Prata, o que tamén lles servirá para seguir medrando na súa formación.
Hai que destacar a habilitación da árbitra galega Tania Rodríguez (actualmente colexiada por Valencia, onde vive) para División de Honra, xunto a súa parella arbitral Lorena García (Aragón).
