Tras a reunión mantida no día de hoxe coa Secretaría Xeral Para o Deporte e coas diferentes federacións deportivas galegas, a raíz da delicada situación sanitaria que se está a vivir cos rebrotes da COVID-19 e das restricións ao deporte con contacto, a Comisión Delegada da Federación Galega de Balonmán decidiu:
• A cancelación da Copa Galicia 20/21 en todas as categorías (infantil, cadete, xuvenil e sénior), considerando a opción de poder trasladala no calendario 20/21 a outras datas.
• Manter os Play Off previos ao inicio das competicións da tempada 20/21 cos mesmos grupos que se ía disputar a Copa Galicia, cos cabezas de serie como organizadores de cada un dos sectores.
• Cambiar o formato dos Play Off das categorías xuvenís masculinas e femininas, pasando do formato de locatario/visitante, ao formato tipo sector na fin de semana do 25, 26 e 27 de setembro de 2020.
• Manter as datas de inicio das competicións sénior, deixando aberta a posibilidade de retrasar o seu comezo en función dos posibles cambios que poidan producirse na regulación vixente na semana do 10 ao 16 de agosto de 2020.
